We were delighted to host the launch of the Annual SVP - Society of St. Vincent de Paul Ireland Christmas Car Raffle at our showrooms on the 18th Nov 2016.

In attendance was our Lord Mayor Des Cahill and Cork Con Rugby Player Steven Archer and John Wilkins, General Manager/ Director CAB Motor Group. A very worthy cause, tickets are only €5 and the winner will be announced in December, just in time for Christmas.

We are happy to continue to be able to support the great work done by the SVP - Society of St. Vincent de Paul Ireland and hope the donation of the car for their annual raffle generates some much needed funds. We firmly believe in giving back to the community and this is our 4th year donating a vehicle to help the SVP continue their much needed work in the community.

An Empty Christmas for some Cork families?
Many families and individuals in your local communities are turning to the Society of St Vincent de Paul as they struggle to put food on their tables, heat their homes and provide gifts for their children this Christmas. For these people in need the prospect of an empty Christmas is very real.

CAB Motor Company have once again partnered with SVP to raise badly needed funds this Christmas for the annual Car Draw. . For the fourth consecutive year CAB have donated a car as the first prize in the draw which will take place on 22nd December. Seven other cash prizes will also be given out. Tickets are being distributed to homes and businesses through Cork city and county and can be purchased for just €5 each. The lucky winner will be presented with a brand new Ford Focus.

Gerry Garvey SVP Regional Co-ordinator is asking Cork people to get behind the draw to ensure that nobody has an empty Christmas. Funds raised through the draw will be used to assist the needy this Christmas and during the cold winter months ahead.

Last year SVP Cork helped over 5000 families. Please say Yes to SVP by supporting this worthwhile draw. Your Yes can last a lifetime!
